Who We Are

Pittsburgh Musical Theater produces professional musical theater at the Byham Theater in Pittsburgh’s Cultural District. Quality musicals with cheap seats for all especially students, families and young children underline our mission.

Pittsburgh Musical Theater is a non-profit company producing quality musical theater at affordable prices. Pittsburgh Musical Theater, as well, provides acting, singing, and dancing classes for students and open auditions for professional and student shows.

Our student discounts provide a unique Pittsburgh theater benchmark. Over one-half of our 45,000 patrons purchase tickets at a student rate. All adults, as well, enjoy the cheapest ticket price in the Pittsburgh Cultural District.

Pittsburgh Musical Theater reaches students by regularly producing student matinees during the school year at 10:00am. The early student matinee time allows schools to introduce students to quality musical theater on a regular basis. The $10.00 top ticket price is the cheapest ticket in Pittsburgh for musicals.

Our studio and administrative offices are located in the James Centre at 327 South Main Street, 15220, just off the West End Bridge in Pittsburgh.
