You are about to experience a delightful production, the culmination of collaboration between incredibly talented student artists on stage and the student musicians in the orchestra pit alongside Pittsburgh’s finest stagehands and technicians behind the scenes. This production represents a unique partnership between the students of Pittsburgh Musical Theater and Pittsburgh CAPA’s 6-12 orchestra.
It has been a true pleasure working with the students. Their work ethic, love and dedication to their art is exemplary. They treat their colleagues with remarkable courtesy and respect, serving as an inspiration to us all.

ILYSSA BAILS (Annie) is deeply grateful for this dream-come-true role with her PMT family. PMT credits: Beauty & the Beast (Chip), Annie Jr. (Molly), Lion King Jr. (Young Simba), A Lyrical Christmas Carol (Tiny Tim). She is in 6th Grade at Community Day School and dances at JCC Pittsburgh. TORRANCE BAJUSZIK (Star-to-be, Perkins, Ensemble) thrilled to be in her junior year of high school working with Pittsburgh Musical Theater. She attends the Pre-College Program at the Conservatory and wants to further her love for the stage in college. Her most recent shows have been Pippin (Ensemble), Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (Jolene Oaks), and Titanic (Alice Beane). Torrance is excited to be on stage again this fall with the cast and crew of Annie! She would like to thank her teachers and directors at Pittsburgh Musical Theater, her family, and friends.
GRACE BAKER (Star-to-be, Boylan Sister, Ensemble) is excited to be performing in her first PMT production at The Byham Theater. Other PMT performances include: The Little Mermaid (Ariel), The Addams Family (Morticia), ALCC (Belinda Cratchet), Pippin (featured ensemble), Beauty and the Beast (assistant/student director). Grace thanks her parents, the PMT teaching staff and her voice instructor, Lauren Garcia-Slawianowski.
MADIGAN BALFE (SFX Man, Ensemble) is very excited to do Annie with PMT. This is Madigan’s seventh show with PMT and her twelfth show ever. She has been performing since she was four and this is her fourth year at PMT. She is currently a sophomore at Pittsburgh CAPA as a Vocal major. Her favorite show she’s done was Titanic this past Spring.
BRETT BARTHELEMY (Wacky, Ensemble) is a sixth grader at Baden Academy, thanks his PMT family. “Break legs” to the cast, crew! You may have seen Brett recently at Comtra and New Hazlett Theaters, and Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center. Favorite past roles include Mary Poppins, Jr. (Bert), Peter Pan (John Darling), and Seussical (Jo-Jo). “Smile!” Look for Brett in Season two of Mindhunter, and as Ralphie in A Christmas Story @comtratheater.org.
TEODORA BIKOWSKI (Pepper) is incredibly excited to be joining the cast of Annie. She is a student of the PMT Richard E. Rauh Conservatory and a 5th grader at Moon Area Middle School. Some of Teodora’s favorite shows with the company include: The Lion King Jr. (Timon), Beauty and the Beast (Chip), Disney’s The Little Mermaid (Leeward) and A Lyrical Christmas Carol (Bell’s child). While not at PMT, Teodora is busy with voice lessons with her teacher Ms. Lauren and learning to play the piano. She would like to thank the entire cast and crew for their guidance and her family for all their support and love!
LEAH BLACKWOOD (Scenic Charge) has been scene painting in the Pittsburgh area since 1984.You may have seen her work at Theaters including City Theatre Company, Prime Stage, Barebones, Bricolage, Front Porch Theatrics, and The Jewish Theater of Pittsburgh to name a few. Leah has also worked in the local film industry, and was on the production crew of Mister Rogers Neighborhood. Thanks to Pittsburgh Musical Theater for ten fun seasons!
BRIANNA BOOHER (Graphic Designer) Growing up just north of Pittsburgh, Brianna played her way through high school in jazz, symphonic, marching, and steel drum performing bands. She was also seen in the orchestra pit with her alto saxophone as a member of the musical ensemble for productions of Thoroughly Modern Millie, Seussical, Starmites, and Grease. She is an avid coffee drinker who values happiness above all else. Brianna is a recent graduate of Robert Morris University with a B.A. in Media Arts - Graphic Design and a minor in photography. She has taken photos around the world for work and leisure in Ireland, Florida, California, and east-coast beaches. Since graduation, she has expanded her photography skills to take photos of sporting events, senior portraits, and is continuously looking for faces and places to snap! She is excited to be a part of Pittsburgh Musical Theater, which gives her the chance to express her passion for both music and art combined.
LUCA BOUDREAU (Wacky, Ensemble) is thrilled to be doing Annie with PMT. He lives on a farm “on” Mars. He plays trumpet and percussion in his school band. Recent PMT productions include High School Musical (Ryan), Little Mermaid (Windward), and A Lyrical Christmas Carol (Young Bob). Many thanks to family, Anna Singer, his vocal coach, and the amazing PMT staff.
LEXIE BROWN (Usherette, Ensemble) is a sophomore musical theatre major at CAPA. This is her fourth year at PMT. She has done multiple shows with PMT in the past and was previously in CAPA’s Les Miserables (Young Cosette). She is ecstatic to do Annie and would like to thank the cast, crew, and the CAPA orchestra for creating another wonderful show.
AMARIANNA BUSA (Lily St. Regis, Ensemble), a senior, is blessed to have played a London Lassie in Oliver, u/s Linda/ensemble in Saturday Night Fever, Nellie in Jekyll and Hyde, Lefou in Beauty and the Beast, and finally Lily St. Regis in Annie at the Byham Theater. She would like to thank God, her family and friends, and the Resident Artists’ for challenging and guiding her throughout the years.
CHARLOTTE BUSH (Miss Hannigan) is a senior musical theater major at Pittsburgh CAPA. Some of her favorite roles include, Madame Thenardier (Les Miserables), Fastrada (Pippin), Shelby (Spitfire Grill), and her upcoming role as The Cat in the Hat in Seussical the Musical. MARNIE BUTLER (Grace Farrell, Ensemble) is a senior at Mars Area High School and attends the Richard E Rauh pre-college program. Favorite past roles include: Hair (Crissy), Urinetown (Hope Cladwell), A Lyrical Christmas Carol (Belle). Marnie is beyond grateful for the opportunity to perform with this talented cast. AVI CHETLIN (Honor Gaurd, Ensemble, u/s Bert) is a musical theatre major at Pittsburgh CAPA. Recently, Avi has appeared in Les Misérables (Feat. Ensemble), Pippin (Theo), and PMT’s Broadway at the Overlook. He will appear next in CAPA’s Wizard of Oz as the Tin Man. EVA DONAHEY (Molly) is grateful to be working with all of the talented PMT and CAPA students. She is in fifth grade, this is her second year at PMT. She played “Small Alice” in Alice in Wonderland, French Woods Festival 2018 and a “Ding Dong” and “Mistletoe Girl” in 2017 production of ALCC. She thanks her family and all the PMT staff.
COLLEEN DOYNO (Director & Executive Artistic Director) proudly serves as the Executive Artistic Director for Pittsburgh Musical Theater. She came to PMT in 1997 as a performer and faculty member. She then was named Conservatory Director in 2001 and added the additional title General Manager in 2003. During her tenure as Conservatory Director and General Manager, Ms. Doyno directed and choreographed countless shows for both the Professional and Conservatory theater companies. Several of these shows have been counted as the “Best of Pittsburgh” in the annual Pittsburgh Post Gazette year in review-including the Conservatory Theater Company’s 2013 production of Miss Saigon, the first student show to be so honored. In 2013 Colleen’s achievements were recognized with the prestigious “Woman of Integrity” award and her commitment to mentoring young women into future leaders was honored as a finalist for the 2013 “Athena” award. Ms. Doyno is a strong advocate for the development of the West End Community, which serves as PMT’s forever home. She has worked with Pittsburgh City Council, PA State and Allegheny County officials and the Mayor’s office to advance growth in the area. She also organized the West End’s efforts for the Pittsburgh Marathon that led it to be named “best in neighborhood entertainment” along the route. Ms. Doyno is proud to produce affordable high quality Broadway style shows through PMT’s Byham and PMT’s new Rockin West End Series. She has a deeply held belief in developing our children into healthy, self-assured, well-rounded individuals through the arts. This belief is at the heart of her educational philosophy and has guided the success of the conservatory under her direction. Colleen considers herself fiercely local and is dedicated to concentrating on the positive found in each individual and each day that she faces.
BEN DORISH (Assistant Dog Catcher) would like to thank his teachers, Mr. James Lash and Ms. Betsy Lawrence for inspiring him to pursue his interest in musical theater. He is grateful to the teachers and students at PMT for welcoming him to the program. This is his first performance and appearance in a show. When he is not catching dogs, he is a student at Jefferson Middle School in Mt. Lebanon.
SOPHIA DOYNO (Mrs. Pugh, Ensemble) wants to thank Colleen Doyno, Brady Patsy, Mandie Russak, and Gemma Leigh Williamson for the amazing opportunity of this learning experience given to her. Sophia is an 8th year PMT student and is a theatre major at Pittsburgh CAPA 6-12. She has enjoyed taking part in many of their past performances, such as Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (Silly Girl), Pippin (Brethe), Urinetown (Josephine “Ma” Strong), and she is excited to experience Annie. She would also like to thank her parents for their support and love.
MITCHELL DUBIN (Assistant to the Music Director) is a junior at the Pittsburgh Creative and Performing Arts High School (CAPA) as a pianist and bassoonist. He has studied the piano for 12 years, currently with Jeff Harris, and the bassoon for four years. Mitchell plays bassoon in the Pittsburgh Youth Symphony Orchestra. Mitchell is a collaborative pianist and conductor, working alongside fellow student, and professional, actors, singers, dancers, and instrumentalists. He is an Apprentice Conductor at the Three Rivers Young People’s Orchestra and the conductor of the Temple Sinai Choir. Mitchell has a passion for musical theater, and he has music directed and/or conducted 25+ shows at CAPA, Pittsburgh Musical Theater, the French Woods Festival of the Performing Arts, and throughout the community. He is very grateful for the opportunity to work on his second RERC and CAPA collaboration.
MARIAN EMANUELSON (Development Associate) is currently a Master of Arts Management student at Carnegie Mellon University’s Heinz College and previously graduated in May of 2018 with a B.S. in Arts Management from Indiana University Bloomington. She was a student at PMT for 6 years and is so excited to be back working with the people who have helped her become who she is today!
LILA ENGLISH (Sophie, Cecille, Ensemble) would like to thank Colleen Doyno, Brady Patsy, and Gemma Leigh Williamson another wonderful opportunity. Lila, a student of PMT and a theatre major at CAPA 6-12, has been cast in previous PMT productions including Urinetown (Little Sally) and Disney’s The Little Mermaid (Flounder). She would also like to thank her parents for their continuous love and support.
BRECKEN FARRELL (Rooster, u/s Daddy Warbucks, Student Director) is grateful to be working alongside the talented students of PMT and CAPA. He is a Pre-College Student at The Richard E. Rauh Conservatory and a Junior at Knoch High School. His favorite credits include Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde (Jekyll and Hyde) and Freddy Benson (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels), in which he received a Mancini Award Nomination for Best Actor. TAYLOR FICCO (Mrs. Greer, Ensemble) is beyond excited to perform again with Pittsburgh Musical Theater! She is a junior at South Fayette High School and this is her eighth year attending classes at the Richard E. Rauh Conservatory. Some of her favorite shows she has been in are Beauty and the Beast, Hair, and The Little Mermaid. A special shout out to this wonderful production team, the incredible CAPA orchestra, and my lovely friends who made this show unforgettable.
BELLA GABRIEL (Star-to-be, Annette, Ensemble, u/s Grace) is overjoyed to be performing in Annie at Pittsburgh Musical Theater and would like to thank all of her instructors and cast members for their dedication to the show! Bella is a junior at South Fayette High School and a student of the Richard E. Rauh Conservatory. Some of her favorite roles include Minnie Fay in Hello, Dolly!, Princess Pandora in The Frog Prince, and a Napkin in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. She is grateful for all of the inspiration her family, mentors, and friends have given her.
BEN GODLEY-FISHER (Bert Healy, Ickes, Judge, Fred, Ensemble, u/s Rooster) is thrilled to be back on the Byham stage! He is a student of PMT’s Richard E. Rauh Conservatory and of Pittsburgh CAPA. Some of his previous credits include Flounder (The Little Mermaid), Cogsworth (Beauty and the Beast), Newsboy (Newsies), Young Terk (Tarzan), and Oliver (Oliver!). He will appear as Charlie Henning in the upcoming film The Great One. Shout out to the wonderful cast and crew and the amazing CAPA orchestra!
BETH GEATCHES (Development Manager) is delighted to work with Pittsburgh Musical Theater as the new Development Manager and proud to support this wonderful production of Annie. She recently received her Master of Arts Management degree from Carnegie Mellon University, and has previously worked for City Theatre and Chicago Shakespeare Theater. Beth’s favorite acting credits include Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike (Nina) and Twelfth Night (Maria) with Theatre Tulsa. Beth performs regularly at Arcade Comedy Theater in downtown Pittsburgh as a cast member of the musical improv team The High Scores and the family-friendly improv team Penny Arcade. NEVE GOLDBERG (Kate) is a 6th grader at Falk school. She is thrilled to be playing the part of Kate in this year’s production of Annie. Neve runs cross country and comes to PMT on Saturday’s and Thursday’s. This is Neve’s 4th year at PMT. Neve is thankful for her wonderful parents who let her continue doing what she loves.
LUCIA LAZZARA GOODRICH (Duffy) is a long time student at PMT. She has always loved musical theater and has been in many PMT musicals, the most recent being: High School Musical (Sharpay). She is in 8th grade and goes to Falk School. She thanks her family and friends for their loving support and is so excited to be in Annie!
CARSON GREGG (Mr. Bundles, Hull, u/s Drake) is excited to be headed to NYC in this production of Annie at PMT. Carson is in eighth-grade at Harrison Middle School in Baldwin and attends the teen intensive program at the Richard E. Rauh Conservatory. Favorite past performances include; Pippin (The Head/Ensemble), A Lyrical Christmas Carol (Peter Cratchit), and Titanic (Murdoch) at PMT, Big Fish (Young Will) at Baldwin High School. He is the voice of Tiny for Sadesky’s Puppets show It Pay$ To Be Nice. In school, he participates in chorus and track. He wishes to thank all his family and friends for their continued support.
AIDAN HALL (Ensemble) is super pumped to be making his debut on the Byham Stage! Aidan was last seen as John Scott in PMT’s High School Musical Jr. He is a competition dancer at the M&M Dance Academy and an avid golfer. Sending love to Mom and Dad, thanks to Mr. Brady and Miss Mandie for inspiring him to become more involved in theater!
OLIVIA GRILL (Perkins, Ensemble) is a senior Musical Theater major at Pittsburgh CAPA and has been studying at Pittsburgh Musical Theater for over the past 5 years. Olivia’s performances at PMT have included: A Lyrical Christmas Carol, Jekyll & Hyde, Beauty and the Beast, Tarzan, and Pippin. During her time studying at CAPA, Olivia has performed in many shows, and most recently was a part of the award-winning production of Les Misérables, which won Best Musical in the 2018 Gene Kelley Awards. Olivia is looking forward to continuing her passion for musical theater after she graduates this year.
ANDREW HALL (Ensemble) excited to be a part of the PMT family and this awesome Annie cast! Last spring, he played the role of Jack Scott in PMT’s High School Musical Jr. Andrew is a 6th grader and enjoys golf and drawing. CAMRYN HALL (July) is thrilled to be back on the Byham Stage and taking some “Hard Knocks” with her little orphan buddies! Cami has performed in two PMT professional shows, The Little Mermaid and Disney’s Tarzan and favorite roles with the Conservatory include Annie Jr. (Annie) and Lion King Jr. (Timon). Love to Mom and Dad and many thanks to her amazing PMT teachers!
EVA HENDRICKS (Mrs. Greer, Ensemble, u/s Miss Hannigan) attends Mt. Lebanon High School and Richard E. Rauh Conservatory’s Pre-College Program. She has also studied theatre at the Interlochen Center for the Arts. Favorite roles include Little Sally (Urinetown), Kate Mullins (Titanic), and Elle Woods (Legally Blonde Jr.). NATASHA HICKEY (Ensemble) is a freshman at Franklin Regional High School. She is in her 3rd year PMT and has been doing theater for the past five years. She has been in musicals like Pippin (PMT), Cinderella Jr. as Joy the stepsister (Franklin Regional), Beauty and the Beast (PMT), and Thoroughly Modern Millie as Dorothy Brown (Stage Right).
SOPHYA HOGLUND-MCGUIRK (Ensemble) is excited to be working on her fifth production at Pittsburgh Musical Theater. She is currently attending Westinghouse Arts Academy. Some of her favorite roles include Junie B. in Junie B. Jones Is Not a Crook and Uncle Fester in The Addams Family. Hope everyone enjoys the show!
ISABELLA HUSNICK (Lily St. Regis, Ensemble) is so excited to head down Easy Street with this cast of Annie! She is a student of the Pre-college Program at the Richard E. Rauh Conservatory and a junior at Serra Catholic High School. Some of her favorite PMT shows have been Beauty and the Beast, Hair, and Titanic. Special thank yous to Ms. Colleen, Miss Mandie, Mr. Brady, Ms. Kate, Miss Gemma and her family.
AMIRA JACKSON (Usherette, Ensemble) would like to thank the cast and crew for making this show a great experience. She lives on the north side and is a junior at Pittsburgh CAPA studying theater. She plans to take theater beyond high school and study in New York. She has been in Annie as Annie, Les Miserable in the ensemble and Hairspray as little Inez! She is more than excited to add another Annie to her resume! She would like to dedicate this show to her dad and hopes you all enjoy the show!
NOAH KENDALL (FDR’s Assistant, Ensemble) is a senior at Montour and is enrolled in PMT’s Pre-College Program. He has been acting since middle school and his most credited roles include Scuttle in The Little Mermaid, and The Wizard in Once Upon a Mattress. HALEY JACOBS (Ensemble, u/s Boylan Sister) is extremely excited to be involved in such a wonderful production of Annie! Haley is a sophomore at Moon Area High School and is a part of the Teen Performance Intensive Program at PMT. LINDSAY KALBFLEISCH (Marketing & Media Manager) is proud to be a part of the PMT team! She is also a resident artist at the Rauh Conservatory and a PMT kid herself having been a student here for many years! She has been seen in many PMT shows including last season’s The Little Mermaid (Alanna) and Evil Dead the Musical (Female Swing). MADISON KISH (Ensemble) is excited to be working again with some of the best cast and crew around. She’s currently a Junior at Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School. Some of her favorite shows she has been a part of include: PMT’S Tarzan (Gorilla Ensemble), Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center’s Big Fish (Acrobat/Ensemble), and PMT’s Beauty and The Beast (Carpet).
AMBER KOCHER (Props Master / Box Office & Audience Services Manager / Accessibility Coordinator) hails from Pittsburgh, with her husband, Kevin and son, Brody. She is a graduate of Clarion University and is the Props Master, Set Dresser, Jack-of-all-Trades Resident Artist at PMT. Her most recent credits with PMT include Evil Dead The Musical, Avenue Q, The Little Mermaid, Young Frankenstein, Shrek, and many more. Amber has been with the company since 2012, and is looking forward to many more rockin’ seasons with Pittsburgh Musical Theater.
DARA KOVACEVIC (Grace Farrell, Ensemble) is a senior musical theater major at Pittsburgh CAPA. Recently, she has performed in Beauty and the Beast (Mrs. Potts), A Lyrical Christmas Carol (Christmas Past), The Spitfire Grill (Hannah), and Pippin (Fastrada). She will appear next in CAPA’s Seussical (Gertrude). She would like to thank the spectacular directors, cast, crew, and orchestra for making her last fall show so special. SYDNEY KRAUTH (Star-to-be, Boylan Sister, Ensemble, u/s Lily St. Regis) is beyond excited to be a part of Pittsburgh Musical Theater’s production of Annie. As well as her parents, she would like to thank all of her friends and instructors for continuously encouraging her to pursue her dreams. She is a senior at Mt. Lebanon High School and some of her favorite roles have been Rizzo in Grease, and Gay Wellington in You Can’t Take It With You.
LIZA LOEBIG (Mrs. Pugh, Ensemble) is thrilled to be in her second show with Pittsburgh Musical Theater alongside the many talented students of PMT and CAPA! Liza, a junior at Plum Senior High School, has performed in musicals outside of school in addition to Plum’s past two productions. Her most recent role there earned her a Gene Kelly Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. She’d like to thank God, her family, friends, instructors at Premier Performing Arts, East End Kids, and PMT for their guidance and support.
BURGESS LYCHACK (u/s Tessa, Kate, & Molly) started at PMT this Fall. Annie is her first performance and she is loving it!
FREDRICK LYCHACK (Apple Seller, Ensemble) started in Musical Theater for a school performance of The Music Man in Spring 2017. He joined PMT the following Fall and was a part of A Lyrical Christmas Carol and then High School Musical in the Spring of 2018.
WILLIAM LYCHACK (Ensemble) started at PMT this Fall. Annie is his first performance and he is loving it!
ALEAH MALLORY (Usherette, Ensemble), 17, is new to musical theatre. She never considered going into it until she did her first musical, The boyfriend. She thanks all of the PMT faculty INCLUDING Ms. Mandy for dealing with her strangeness and helping her to become the best performer she can be. Aleah hopes to have a successful career in musical theatre!
GIAVANNA MARINACCI (Boylan Sister, Ensemble) would like to thank everyone at Pittsburgh Musical Theater for putting together this performance of Annie. Gia is in her freshman year at Westinghouse Arts Academy as a Musical Theater major and also continues to attend classes at PMT. She has performed in the PMT productions of Addams Family Values (Pugsly), Lion King Jr. (Rafiki), Titanic (Kate Mullins), Beauty and Beast (Pepper), A Lyrical Christmas Carol, and Pippin (Ensemble). She is excited to be a part of the show alongside her talented cast-mates and friends who have become a second family.
JULIA MARN (Pagers, Ensemble), a junior at Avonworth HS, is thrilled to be performing in her first PMT production. Julia is in the pre-college program at PMT and participates in Avonworth’s musical, marching band, orchestra band and choir. Her last performance was in 1776 as Caesar Rodney. Julia would like to thank the directors, cast, crew and orchestra for this wonderful experience.
LILLIAN MCDERMOTT (Ensemble) has been attending Pittsburgh Musical Theatre since 2008 and she is a theatre major at Pittsburgh’s Creative and Performing Arts school. Favorite past roles include Gretel in The Sound of Music, Pugsley in The Adams Family, and the Bellboy in Titanic the musical. She would like to thank PMT for this amazing opportunity and all of her mentors for everything they have done.
JARON MCDONNELL (Morganthau, Ensemble) is more than excited to be able to preform in the PMT production of Annie and thanks PMT and everyone involved for the opportunity. He is in eleventh grade, attending North Hills High School, and participates in the Teen Performance Intensive Program at Richard E. Ruah Conservatory. This will be Jaron’s first theatre performance of hopefully many.
CLARA MCGOUGH (July) is thrilled to be making her PMT debut in Annie. Clara is a 7th grader from Bethel Park. She has performed with Front Porch Theatricals (Grey Gardens), the River City Brass Band, Little Lake Theater, and Bethel Park High School. She would like to thank the amazing cast and crew, PMT staff, and her family, for this opportunity.
KATE MCQUILLAN (Miss Hannigan) is ecstatic to be playing Miss Hannigan! She would like to thank the cast and crew for putting together a wonderful show. She is currently a sophomore at Upper St. Clair High School. Her theater credits include Catherine in Pippin and Alice in Titanic. She says thank you to Charlie and her incredible cast for making such a wonderful show.
JOSIE MERCIER (Ensemble) is excited to be back on the Byham stage alongside her RERC friends and the talented CAPA orchestra. Josie studies ballet, music rep, and musical theater at RERC. She has been in productions since the age of five, her favorite role being Susan Walker in Miracle on 34th Street at Comtra Theater. Josie would like to thank her Grandpap for being the Morgan Freeman to her Jessica Tandy, getting her where she needs to be so she can continue doing what she loves. Grandma would be proud!
ABIGAIL MESSNER (Ensemble) 11th grade at OLSH and has been attending PMT for nearly 12 years. She is also part of XTB. Her favorite roles have been March Hare (Alice in Wonderland), Enid Hoopes (Legally Blonde) &, Who (Seussical). She’s thrilled to be back on the Byham stage again and would like to thank Colleen, Gemma & Brady for this opportunity!
HALEY MESSNER (Ensemble), 9th grade at OLSH and has been attending PMT for 9 years. Her favorite roles have been in The Sound of Music (Gretl Von Trapp), Shrek (Young Fiona), and Annie (Annie and Star-to be). She would like to thank Colleen, Gemma & Brady for once again believing in her and allowing her to be a part of this production.
MOLLY (Sandy the Dog) is a six year old golden retriever who is reprising her role as “Sandy” just months after her debut at Jeter Backyard Theater. While Molly was introduced to the stage a bit later in life, her energy and charisma are those of a dog half her age. In her free time, Molly likes swimming, playing fetch, and chasing cats. Special thanks to the many people who have helped with Molly’s training these last few months and the wonderful casts at PMT who have made her life a little bit richer.
NICK MITCHELL (FDR) has been an active director/actor in the Greater Pittsburgh Area since relocating from NYC over a decade ago. In 2016, Nick was selected for a year-long Directing Observership with City Theatre where he assisted Tracy Brigden in directing the Pittsburgh premiere of Ironbound. Other directing highlights include Evil Dead the Musical (Pittsburgh Musical Theater), Assassins (Stage 62), and the critically acclaimed production of [title of show] (Company of Pittsburgh). Nick has worked for over a decade at the Pittsburgh CLO, with the Gallery of Heroes Tour, as an instructor at their Academy, and as Assistant Director of CLO’s A Musical Christmas Carol (dir. David Bell). He appeared onstage with PMT last year in both The Little Mermaid and Titanic. Nick studied Musical Theater and Directing at Oklahoma City University. He is currently the resident director at Plum H.S. and is a teaching artist at Pittsburgh Propel Schools. He is actively working on his greatest collaboration which will premiere 9/1/19.

LUCY MYERS (Tessie) is so excited to be a part of Pittsburgh Musical Theater! Lucy is a fifth grade student at Avonworth Elementary School, with six year years of musical theater experience. BRADY OPEL (Ensemble) is excited to be in the cast of Annie. Some of Brady’s former experiences with PMT has been in The Lion King (Scar), Mary Poppins (Mr. Banks), High School Musical (Chad), The Addams Family (Lucas), and in the ensemble for Beauty and the Beast and Tarzan. Brady would like to thank all his teachers for this opportunity.
TODD NONN (Lighting Designer) is the Resident Lighting Designer for PMT. This will be his 9th season working on productions with the company. He will also occasionally design a set for one of the shows too. Todd also is the Technical Director for all of Squonk Opera’s shows touring around the world, the Assistant Lighting Designer for all of Pittsburgh Opera’s performances at the Benedum, a stagehand with IATSE Local#3, a Lighting Designer at RMU, and works on many other productions. In his free time he enjoys the outdoors, camping and backpacking.
DANIELLE PARSONS (Molly) is a second grader from Jefferson Hills and a third year PMT student. She has appeared in A Lyrical Christmas Carol and numerous showcases. She first played Molly in a community theater production, and she is delighted to play her favorite role on PMT’s main stage with the talented CAPA Orchestra! RACHAEL PARSONS (Annie) is an 8th grader from Jefferson Hills and honored to play Annie at the Byham Theater. MAYA PERILMAN (Duffy) is extremely happy to be playing Duffy in Pittsburgh Musical Theater’s production of Annie. Maya has previously performed at The Rye Arts Center, the JCC, Pittsburgh Musical Theater, and Jefferson Middle School. Her favorite performed roles are Gertrude McFuzz in Suessical the Musical Jr., Taylor McKessie in High School Musical Jr., and now Duffy in Annie.
CHRISTOPHER PATRICK (Makeup & Wig Designer) is a Journeyman Makeup Artist of I.A.T.S.E. Local 798 and has worked in theater, film and commercials in the Pittsburgh region for the past 12 years. He is thrilled to be in his 11th season with Pittsburgh Musical Theater. His film work includes makeup on The Avengers, Perks of Being a Wallflower, Super 8, Out of the Furnace, Foxcatcher, Last Witch Hunter, Concussion, and WGN’s Outsiders.
BRADY PATSY (Daddy Warbucks & Conservatory Director) is currently the Conservatory Director for The Richard E Rauh Conservatory and is a professional performer from the greater Pittsburgh area. He has performed with company’s such as Pittsburgh Musical Theater, West Virginia Public Theater, Boston’s North Shore Music Theater Company, and many others. In 2008, Brady spent a year working for the Walt Disney World Company. There, he had the opportunity to work with Regis and Kelly, Billy Ray and Miley Cyrus, Fantasia Burrino, David Cook, Jon and Kate Gosselin, and many others! Upon returning to PA, he jumped right back on the stage and has been performing non-stop. During 2010-12 he served as Production Administrator for Grayfin Arts Entertainment Events. He also served as an theater instructor for The Butler Center for the Performing Arts! Throughout his eleven years on the professional stage he has had the opportunity to play extraordinary roles in shows such as Sister Act (Curtis), Grease (Miss Lynch), The Little Mermaid (Grimsby), Children of Eden (Father), Hairspray (Edna Turnblad), Jesus Christ Superstar (Peter), Spring Awakening (Male Authority Figure), Beauty and the Beast (Cogsworth), Seussical (General Schmitz), RENT (Tom Collins), Les Miserables (Javert), Cats (Bustopher Jones/Gus) Legally Blonde, West Side Story, Fiddler on the Roof, Tarzan, and many others!

Tara is a junior at Butler Senior High School, where she has recently performed as Scuttle in The Little Mermaid. ALLISON PRESUTTI (Pepper, u/s Annie), a 6th grader at West Allegheny Middle School, is thrilled to be cast as Pepper in PMT’s production of Annie. Some of Allie’s favorite performances include High School Musical, Jr., A Lyrical Christmas Carol, and The Music Man. She would like to thank her family and friends for their constant support. She is grateful for her teachers at PMT, her music teachers at school and her voice instructor, Sandy Pucci.
CONNOR REDMAN (Dog Catcher) found his love for the stage as a North Star Kid from 2016-2018. He is an eighth grader at North Hills Middle School and after playing “The Prince Formerly Known as the Artist” in Aladdin Jr., Connor decided to pursue his acting education at PMT. He’s honored to be a part of the cast of Annie.
KATE QUEEN-TOOLE (Controller) has a B.A. in Communication/Theater, a B.S.B.A in Accounting, and an M.S. in Instructional Leadership from Robert Morris University. She has had the distinct pleasure of appearing in so many wonderful PMT productions since moving to Pittsburgh in 2007. Some of her favorite moments onstage with PMT include Maria in West Side Story, Wendla in Spring Awakening, and Jane in Tarzan. She is thrilled to be working with the students of PMT as an educator and resident artist. Kate values the mentorship and education she received from the many brilliant teachers and performers she’s had the opportunity to study under throughout her life; she is thrilled to join the ranks of PMT’s staff and become an active part of the development of many more brilliantly talented performers!
ELLA-JO REINHART (Ensemble) is an 8th grader at St. Sylvester School. Ella is so excited to be performing once again with her PMT family on the Byham stage. (Oliver, Beauty & The Beast). ELLIE TONGEL (Boylan Sister, Ginger, Ensemble) is thrilled to return to the Byham Stage! Ellie is a freshman at Plum High School and a student of PMT. DR. FRANCESCA TORTORELLO (Music Director) regularly performs recitals in the Northeast and Midwest and collaborates with a wide variety of instrumentalists and singers. She has worked with members of the Cleveland Orchestra and the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra and has been heard on Minnesota Public Radio performing on Talking Volumes. She collaborated with renowned soprano Susanna Phillips at Twickenhamfest in 2011, and gave the Midwest premier of Samuel Barber’s lost violin sonata with violinist Dr. John Gilbert in July 2014. Francesca began piano lessons at the age of four in her hometown of Mount Kisco, NY. She holds a Bachelors degree in Piano Performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music where she studied with Antonio Pompa-Baldi. Her true passion, however, has always been chamber music and she received a Masters degree and Professional Studies certificate in Collaborative Piano from CIM, studying with Virginia Weckstrom. She recently obtained a Doctorate in Collaborative Piano and Coaching at the University of Minnesota and studied with Timothy Lovelace. A dedicated teacher and coach, Francesca served as staff accompanist at the Sato Center for Suzuki Studies at CIM for four years and, most recently, held the position of staff accompanist at the MacPhail Center for Music in Minneapolis. She has maintained an active teaching studio for the past decade. Francesca and her husband, Pittsburgh Symphony cellist Michael DeBruyn, have been performing as a professional duo since 2004.
ANDI TRAGESER (Ensemble) is incredibly excited to be able to be apart of this years production of Annie. She is an 11th grade student at Pittsburgh CAPA 6-12 as a Musical Theater major. She has been a part of show such as Pippin as Berthe, Les Miserable as an ensemble member, and Anything Goes as an ensemble member. She would also like to thank the entire cast and crew for their hard work.
NICOLE URAM (Assistant Stage Manager, RCTC Company Manager) is thrilled to be back home and working with Pittsburgh Musical Theater. She is a proud PMT Kid who spent more then 8 years of her life with the company. She is very happy to have returned and to be working as a Resident Artist. She graduated from Elon University with a BFA in Music Theatre. She was last seen as Sister Mary Robert in Sister Act. Her favorite past credits include Pauline in Saturday Night Fever (Pittsburgh Musical Theater), Nina Rosaria in In the Heights (Elon University), Kate Murphy in Titanic: The Musical (Elon University), Swing/Assistant Choreographer for The Wild Party (Elon University), Serena in Legally Blonde: The Musical (CPCC Summer Theater), Eponine in Les Miserables (Pittsburgh Musical Theater), and Yonah in Children of Eden (Pittsburgh Musical Theater). Since 2007, Gemma has been a part of PMT’s family, serving as Production & Logistics Manager, and proud Actors Equity Member! Favorite Managing Credits include: Avenue Q, Grease, Sister Act, Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Shrek, Legally Blonde, Disney’s Tarzan, Spring Awakening, Miss Saigon, Les Miserables, Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, and the GROOVY Evil Dead! Gemma teaches at the Richard E. Rauh Conservatory as the director of the Creative Learning Center, and is happy to begin the journey of musical theater with the youth in Pittsburgh’s community. She is also a part of PMT’s College Mentoring Program as a mentor to high school seniors who are interested in technical theater, education, theater management, journalism, and the like. You can catch Gemma wearing many different hats around her local community including the Freedom Cares Foundation Vice President and Choreographer for Freedom Area High School.
