VICTOR APONTE (Ensemble / Seagull / Sailor / Chef / u/s: Scuttle) is ecstatic to be performing in PMT’s production of Disney’s The Little Mermaid among such a talented cast. He received a BFA in Theatre from Clarion University in 2011. Since then he’s worked locally with Pittsburgh CLO, Asylum Entertainment, and Throughline Theatre Company. Most recently, he was seen in the ensemble of We Will Rock You. Victor would like to thank Colleen for this wonderful opportunity and his family, friends, and mentors for their endless support.
TEODORA BIKOWSKI (Leeward) is incredibly excited to be joining the cast of The Little Mermaid. She is a student of the PMT Richard E. Rauh Conservatory and a 4th grader at Bon Meade Elementary. Some of Teodora’s favorite shows with the company include: The Lion King (Timon), Beauty and the Beast (Chip) and A Lyrical Christmas Carol (Belle’s child). While not at PMT, Teodora is busy with voice lessons with her teacher Ms. Lauren. She would like to thank the entire cast and crew for their guidance and her family for all their support and love!
JENNIFER BIRNIE (Development & Fundraising Officer / Accessibility Coordinator) received her B.A. in Theater from Indiana University - Bloomington. Jennifer returns ‘home’ as Pittsburgh Musical Theater’s Development & Fundraising Officer/Accessibility Coordinator after working as the Individual Support Manager with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. Jennifer is a proud and active Board of Directors chapter member of AFPWPA (Association of Fundraising Professionals - Western Pennsylvania) and PEO - Chapter BW (Philanthropic Education Organization). Jennifer resides in Sewickley with her loving and supportive husband Andrew, where they are devoted parents to their daughter Carley. Live to Outgive.
LEAH BLACKWOOD (Scenic Charge Artist) has been painting scenery in Pittsburgh for just shy of 30 years and currently works at City Theater Company. You may have seen her work in theater over the years at such places as Pittsburgh Public Theater, PICT, Quantum or The Jewish Theater of Pittsburgh to name a few. Leah also worked on the production crew for Mister Rogers Neighborhood for many years. Her work can also be seen in over 25 films including “Silence of the Lambs”, ”Lorenzo’s Oil”, “Striking Distance”, “Sudden Death”, and “Hoffa”.
BRIANNA BOOHER (Graphic Designer) Growing up just north of Pittsburgh, Brianna played her way through high school in jazz, symphonic, marching, and steel drum performing bands. She was also seen in the orchestra pit with her alto saxophone as a member of the musical ensemble for productions of Thoroughly Modern Millie, Seussical, Starmites, and Grease. She is an avid coffee drinker who values happiness above all else. Brianna is a recent graduate of Robert Morris University with a B.A. in Media Arts - Graphic Design and a minor in photography. She has taken photos around the world for work and leisure in Ireland, Florida, California, and east-coast beaches. Since graduation, she has expanded her photography skills to take photos of sporting events, senior portraits, and is continuously looking for faces and places to snap! She is excited to be a part of Pittsburgh Musical Theater, which gives her the chance to express her passion for both music and art combined.
LUCA BOUDREAU (Windward / Ensemble) lives on a farm in Mars, PA. Included on the farm are four goats, fourteen chickens, three cats and his sister, Gabi, who he sometimes wishes lived in the barn with the livestock. He attends the 4th grade at Eden Hall Upper Elementary. He acted most recently in PMT’s productions of A Lyrical Christmas Carol and Beauty and the Beast. He has also performed in the past with ACT ONE, The Pittsburgh Boys Choir, and CLO’s Summer Camp. Luca also plays trumpet, piano, and is a master Lego creator. He is a passionate Broadway aficionado and has memorized the songs from many Broadway hits including Les Mis, Hamilton, Sweeney Todd, and Something Rotten. As a ten-year-old, Luca is in awe of his castmates and their talents. He would like to thank them all for sharing their wisdom and kindness with an aspiring young actor.
TYLER BRIGNONE (Pilot / Ensemble / Seagull / Sailor / Chef) is ecstatic to be making his Pittsburgh and professional debut with PMT on the Byham stage. Tyler is brand new to the Pittsburgh area having just moved from Utah where he was born and raised. Tyler is a Software Engineer by trade but his heart and dreams belong to the theater. Some of his favorite former roles include Jekyll/Hyde in Jekyll and Hyde, Tony in West Side Story, Terry in Sideshow, The Beast in Beauty and the Beast, Bob Wallace in White Christmas, and many others. Tyler’s next project will be playing Rod in Avenue Q (PMT) this May. He would like to thank PMT, his wife and son, and all his family and friends that have supported him along the way. Steve Holt!
KIM BROWN (Costume Designer) holds MFA and BS degrees from Ohio University, Athens, Ohio. Kim’s previous designs for PMT include CATS, Joseph...Dreamcoat, and Beauty and The Beast. Owner of Spotlight Costumes, Kim designs nationally and locally for professional and amateur performance venues including high schools, national tours, amusement parks and opera. A past president of the National Costumers Association, Kim is the four time recipient of the NCA’s Grand International Award and numerous Gene Kelly costume design awards. She is a resident designer with Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center and Liberty Theatre in Midland and is an instructor in makeup and costume design at Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School.
EMMA CUMBERLEDGE (Assistant Stage Manager) is currently a Sophomore Theater Arts: Practices and Performance major at Point Park University. As a Sophomore there, she has begun to expand her artistry as a performer, director, and is very excited to begin to take on staging managing here at PMT. She couldn’t be more thankful to work with such a fun, creative, Disney-loving cast and crew on this production! Emma would like to thank her family, friends, and boyfriend for always being her support system. A special thanks for Gemma and Colleen for giving her this incredible opportunity!
MYAH E. DAVIS (Ensemble) is thrilled to going back under the sea in Disney’s The Little Mermaid. She has her BA in Communication/Theatre from Robert Morris University and has been working professionally in the musical theater industry as both an actor and a stage manager since 2012. She has been seen in shows all over the greater Pittsburgh area for over 10 years including Chicago (June), DreamGirls (Stepp Sister), Good People (Kate), Love’s Labour’s Lost (Jaqunetta) and Avenue Q (Gary Coleman) to name a few. COLLEEN DOYNO (Executive Artistic Director) proudly serves as the Executive Artistic Director for Pittsburgh Musical Theater. She came to PMT in 1997 as a performer and faculty member. She then was named Conservatory Director in 2001 and added the additional title and responsibilities of General Manager in 2003. During her tenure as Conservatory Director and General Manager, Ms. Doyno directed and choreographed countless shows for both the Professional and Conservatory theater companies. Several of these shows have been counted as the “Best of Pittsburgh” in the annual Pittsburgh Post Gazette year in review-including the Conservatory Theater Company’s 2013 production of Miss Saigon, the first student show to be so honored. In 2013 Colleen’s achievements were recognized with the prestigious “Woman of Integrity” award and her commitment to mentoring young women into future leaders was honored as a finalist for the 2013 “Athena” award. Ms. Doyno is a strong advocate for the development of the West End Community, which serves as PMT’s forever home. She has worked with Pittsburgh City Council, PA State and Allegheny County officials and the Mayor’s office to advance growth in the area. She also organized the West End’s efforts for the Pittsburgh Marathon that led it to be named “best in neighborhood entertainment” along the route. Ms. Doyno is proud to produce affordable high quality Broadway style shows through PMT’s Byham and PMT’s new Rockin West End Series. She has a deeply held belief in developing our children into healthy, self-assured, well-rounded individuals through the arts. This belief is at the heart of her educational philosophy and has guided the success of theconservatory under her direction. Colleen considers herself fiercely local and is dedicated to concentrating on the positive found in each individual and each day that she faces.
ALLIE DUNCAN (Ensemble / Maid) is once again swimming with PMT after working on the 2015 production of The Little Mermaid! She is a student of the Pre-College Program at the Richard E. Rauh Conservatory and a senior at South Fayette High School. Allie has just finished up her college audition endeavors as she is looking to pursue stage management this coming fall. Favorite shows with the company include: A Lyrical Christmas Carol (Past), Hair (Chrissy), Sister Act, Beauty and the Beast, Sweeney Todd, and RENT. After trading in her flippers for feet, Allie will be assisting the fabulous Miss Gemma as the conservatory takes on High School Musical with the Preteens! LISA ELLIOTT (Choreographer) has been choreographing, directing and teaching with Pittsburgh Musical Theater and the Richard E. Rauh Conservatory since 1996. Lisa has a BA in dance from Point Park College (now Point Park University) and has been teaching dance in and around the Pittsburgh area for more than 30 years. She is currently in her 10th teaching Musical Theater Jazz at Robert Morris University, as well as 22 years with the Rauh Conservatory Programs. Choreography and Direction credits with Pittsburgh Musical Theater include We Will Rock You, Disney’s Tarzan, Little Mermaid, Jesus Christ Superstar, Cats, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, West Side Story, Sister Act, Young Frankenstein, Shrek, Oliver, Urinetown, Once on This Island, and numerous others.
LILA ENGLISH (Flounder) would like to thank Colleen Doyno, Gemma Leigh Williamson and the cast of The Little Mermaid for this incredible opportunity. Lila is a student of Pittsburgh Musical Theater as well as a freshman theatre major at CAPA 6-12. She has been cast in previous PMT productions including Urinetown (Little Sally) and Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (Silly Girl). She would also like to thank her acting and voice teachers Jennifer Lybarger, Kathlene Toole, and Brady Patsy and her parents who have put up with the rigorous rehearsals and who have supported her through it all.
ALEX FICCO (Ensemble / Maid) is thrilled to return under the sea in PMT’s The Little Mermaid! She is a senior at South Fayette High School and is in her third year of PMT’s Pre-College Program. In the fall, Alex was in another magical Disney production with PMT as Belle in Beauty and the Beast right here on the Byham Stage. Some of her other favorite shows include Hair (Jeanie), A Chorus Line (Bebe), Sister Act, and The Hunchback of Notre Dame. TAYLOR FICCO (Ensemble) is beyond excited to be a part of PMT’s production of The Little Mermaid! She is a sophomore at South Fayette High School and has been a student at PMT’s Richard E. Rauh Conservatory for 8 years. Some of her favorite performances have been Legally Blonde (Elle Woods), Shrek the Musical (Dragon), Seussical the Musical (Jojo), and, most recently, Beauty and the Beast (Silly Girl). She thanks the wonderful cast and crew for making this show such an extraordinary experience, and she sends love to her amazing friends and family for their endless love and support.
ADAM FLADD (Jetsam) is so grateful for the opportunity to be performing in another PMT show with such a talented cast and crew! A graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania where he received a BA in voice and a minor in piano, he now works as a resident artist at PMT. Adam first joined the family in 2016 performing the role of Bobby C in Saturday Night Fever and has been a part of each production since, most recently as Scott in Evil Dead The Musical. Adam is also perusing his other passion of composing and arranging marching band show music. In the future, he dreams of becoming the Dean of a Fine Arts Department. BENJAMIN GODLEY-FISHER (Flounder) is so enthusiastic to be diving into this show! He is a student of the PMT Richard E. Rauh Conservatory and Pittsburgh Obama Academy. Some of his recent credits include: Beauty and the Beast (Cogsworth), Newsies (Blink, Brooklyn Newsie), Tarzan (Young Terk), A Lyrical Christmas Carol (Narrator), and Oliver! (Oliver). He will appear as Charlie Henning in the upcoming film The Great One. He would like to thank the entire cast and crew for their love and support, and his amazing friends and family!
CAMRYN HALL (Ensemble) is thrilled to go Under the Sea with this outstanding cast and production team! Cami has been passionate about performing since she first took to the stage at the age of 3! Currently an 8th grader at Franklin Regional Middle School, she treasures her time training as a transitions student at PMT, where she is continually inspired by her amazing resident artist instructors. PMT roles include: Annie Jr. (Annie), Lion King Jr. (Timon), Disney’s Tarzan (Gorilla), Oliver (workhouse boy), Beauty and the Beast (ensemble), and ALCC (Lily Cratchet). Cami has also performed with Stage Right!, Apple Hill Playhouse, and M&M Dance Academy. Next up, she is excited to take on the role of “Fairy Godmother” in FRMS’s production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella. Cami sends love to Mom, Dad, family, friends, and Ms. Kate for their constant support! MARIN ROSE (Ensemble) is very excited to be joining Pittsburgh Musical Theater with this wonderful show! Marin is a native of Dallas, TX, and graduated Cum Laude with a BFA in Dance from Point Park University. Marin has toured nationally for two seasons with Lightwire Theater and has danced professionally at Busch Gardens in Tampa. She has performed with Ronald K. Brown/Evidence a Dance Company in Pittsburgh, and has performed works by Martha Graham, Helen Pickett, Kim Neal Nofsinger, and Michelle Gibson. Favorite choreography credits include Stagedoor Manor, the Distinguished Young Women programs in several states, the feature film The Beacon, and behind the scenes with Suffolk Pointe Company. When not dancing, Marin enjoys working at “The Dancer’s Pointe.” Marin would like to thank her wonderful fiancé, dancing Grandma, family and friends for their endless love and support!
ISABELLA MARIA HUSNICK (Ensemble) is so delighted and grateful for the opportunity to be a part of PMT’s production of The Little Mermaid. She is currently a sophomore at Serra Catholic High School. Additionally, she is a Transitions student at PMT’s Richard E. Rauh Conservatory and has enjoyed performing with them for the past 5 years. It was especially fun to be cast as a Silly Girl in PMT’s Fall production of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. Isabella would like to thank Colleen Doyno, Jennifer Lybarger, Brady Patsy, Miss Gemma, Miss Lisa and all of her inspiring instructors. A very special thank you to Miss Kate (Kate Toole) for her fantastic vocal coaching/mentoring, and her family for their unending love and support.
RYAN JACKSON (Ensemble / Seagull / Sailor / Chef, u/s: King Triton) a Pittsburgh Native, is thrilled to be returning to the Pittsburgh Musical Theater stage! Ryan was most recently seen as Britt in the regional premier of We Will Rock You. He received his B.F.A in Musical Theatre from Clarion University of Pennsylvania and has been working ever since. He would like to thank his friends and family for their support. And a special thank you to his Mom for always believing in him!!!
LINDSAY KALBFLEISCH (Alanna / Princess / Social Media and Digital Manager) is thrilled to return to the Byham stage! Last month, Lindsay was the female swing in Evil Dead: The Musical in PMT’s after hours series at the Gargaro Theater. She recently moved back to Pittsburgh after spending four and half years in Phoenix, AZ where she performed some of her favorite roles ever including: Louise (Gypsy), Sister Mary Leo (Nunsense), and Aurora (Kiss of the Spiderwoman). Favorite PMT credits: Seussical, Joseph and the Amazing..., West Side Story, Beauty and the Beast, and Footloose to name a few! She is also a resident artist at the Rauh Conservatory. Lindsay would like to thank Colleen, Lisa and Francesca for this wonderful opportunity. She sends all her love to her family, friends, the fantastic cast and production team, her real-life Prince Eric and best furry friend, Dixie. LAWRENCE KARL (Ensemble / Sailor / Chef) is excited to be making his debut with Pittsburgh Musical Theater in The Little Mermaid. He would like to thank Colleen and the cast and crew of the show, to which none of this would be possible without. You guys rock! Lawrence is a Pittsburgh native who received his Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and his Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Slippery Rock University. He also works as an overhire with City Theatre, an actor with Fairytale Princess Parties, and a dancer with Exhalations Dance Theatre. His most recent theatre credits include: Arriba! Arriba! A Roberto Clemente Story (Swing) with the Pittsburgh CLO, Equus (Horse/Alan u/s) with The Pittsburgh Public Theatre, Momentum: A Festival of Plays (Stage Directions) with City Theatre, Pippin (Lewis) with Princeton Summer Theatre, and A Pirates Tale (Robert) with Shadows and Flames Productions. He has also performed in the Edinburg Festival Fringe in Scotland twice, in a production of Dark North (Daniel DarkNorth) and Electra: An American Gothic (Orestes). Friends, family, and colleagues, continue to always push for your goals. Never give up.
AMANDA KEEN (Wig Master) is glad to be returning for her 3rd season with PMT. A recent graduate of The Tom Savini Special Makeup F/X Program in January 2018, she has helped bring many shows to life including Sister Act, Saturday Night Fever, Grease, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Beauty and the Beast, and Tarzan. She is thrilled to bring The Little Mermaid to the stage!
BRADLEY KELLER (Ensemble / Sailor) would like to express his gratitude to everyone in the cast and crew for making this production a blast. He is currently a Theatre Arts major at The University of Pittsburgh. Brad was most recently seen in UP Stages production of Little Shop of Horrors. He is also a founding member of Bedford’s Off Pitt Street Productions theatre guild. Brad would like to thank Dawn Ziviello for starting his professional acting career, Kari for giving him fundamentals to grow as a dancer, and his parents for always letting him pursue his passions.
AMBER KOCHER (Props Master / Box Office & Audience Services Manager) hails from Pittsburgh, with her husband, Kevin and son, Brody. She is a graduate of Clarion University and is the Props Master, Set Dresser, Jack-of-all-Trades Resident Artist at PMT. Her most recent credits with PMT include Evil Dead The Musical, Peter Pan, The Little Mermaid, Young Frankenstein, Shrek, Les Miserables, and many more. Amber has been with the company since 2012, and is looking forward to many more rockin’ seasons with Pittsburgh Musical Theater.
ALEXIS KREY (Atina / Princess) is thrilled to make her Pittsburgh Musical Theater debut in The Little Mermaid! She is a graduate of The Catholic University of America, earning a Bachelor of Music in Musical Theatre. While there she performed in Carousel as Louise Bigelow. She recently worked with RWS Entertainment Group at Storyland Park as Cinderella, and at Carowinds Park in the Holly Jolly Trolley. Alexis also performed on the Red Rocker Dance Team for the NHL Washington Capitals. Her other regional credits include Catch Me If You Can at NextStop Theatre, and Shrek and Damn Yankees at Ocean City Theatre Company. After this production, Alexis will be performing with Cumberland Theatre in Gypsy as June. Love and thanks to her family and friends!
JENNIFER LYBARGER (Conservatory Director) was born and raised in Pittsburgh PA, where she studied Musical Theater at the Pittsburgh Playhouse Conservatory, the Richard E Rauh Conservatory and Graduated from Point Park University with a BA in Acting. Post Graduation, she moved to New York City where she lived for the better part of the next decade. In this time, she toured North America in the companies of Crazy for You ( Patricia Fodor), Funny Girl (Follies Girl) and Barry Mannilow’s Copacabana (Gladys Murphy). Jenn also played Rose Alvarez in an Off-Broadway production of Bye Bye Birdie. While in New York, she began working in arts education as a team member for Ballet Tech, as well as through workshops and talk backs while performing Bye Bye Birdie. She returned to her hometown of Pittsburgh in 2006 to begin teaching at Pittsburgh Musical Theater’s Richard E Rauh Conservatory. She has also been fortunate to perform and direct with PMT over the past 12 years. She assumed her current position of Conservatory Director in February 2016. In addition to her positions at PMT, Jenn became an adjunct faculty member at Pittsburgh CAPA 6-12 in 2009. She has been teaching acting, musical theater, voice and speech, movement, dance and theater history to students in grades 6-12 for the past 9 years. She has also been the director of the 6-8 all school musical, as well as musicals and plays for the high school theater department. While building her teaching and directing career, she continues to work as an actress for such local companies as PMT, Pittsburgh CLO, PICT, Stage Right!, and 10 years of summer stock at West Virginia Public Theater. She is represented locally by The Talent Group.
NICK MITCHELL (Grimsby) is excited to be making his PMT performing debut in The Little Mermaid. Most recently, he directed PMT’s inaugural After Hours show, Evil Dead the Musical. Nick has been an active actor/director in Western Pennsylvania for the past 10 years since moving here from NYC. Highlights on stage have been with 12 Peers Theatre, Split Stage, Empty Jug, Pittsburgh CLO, and the Academy Theater. Favorite roles include Cyrano (Cyrano de Bergerac), Lumiere (Beauty and the Beast), Max (both Lend Me a Tenor and The Producers), Dan Kaffee (A Few Good Men), Nat (Conor McPherson’s The Birds), and Elliot Garfield (The Goodbye Girl). Directing highlights include The Company of Pittsburgh’s The Last 5 Years, their critically acclaimed production of [title of show], and Assassins at Stage 62. Nick is the resident director at Plum High School, and was chosen for a directing observership at City Theater during their ‘16-’17 season. Thanks to Colleen, Gemma, and the whole PMT team!
CAROLINE NICOLIAN * (Aquata) is thrilled to be returning for her third production at Pittsburgh Musical Theater, after her appearance in RENT and Children of Eden. A native of Pittsburgh, she has worked with numerous theaters in the region. Her favorite credits include The Pittsburgh CLO’s productions of The Toxic Avenger (Mayor/Ma Ferd), First Date (Casey), Side by Side by Sondheim (Woman 2), Pittsburgh Public Theatre’s production of My Fair Lady (Eliza u/s), Jacques Brel is Alive and Well (Woman 2) with Pittsburgh Irish and Classical Theatre, and Children of Eden (eve/Mama Noah) with The Strand Theatre. Other credits include Xanadu (PCLO), Judge Jackie Justice (PCLO), and A Grand Night for singing (Saint Vincent Summer Theatre). She was nominated for Best Actress of 2017 for Pittsburgh City Paper’s Best of the Burgh. Proud Member of Actor’s Equity. She would like to thank Colleen for this experience. Special thanks go to her fiance, Quinn: her sun, moon, and stars.
ELLY NOBLE * (Arista) is psyched to be back on stage with Pittsburgh Musical Theater! Spending the better part of the last 7 years in New York City, she is thrilled to call Pittsburgh home again! Elly originated the role of Helen in MCC’s Off-Broadway Revival of Carrie in 2013, as well as understudying the title role, and was featured as Tinkerbell in the NYMF 2016 production of TINK! A NEW MUSICAL. A little closer to home, she was last seen in Stage Right’s The Little Mermaid (Ariel), Saint Vincent’s Summer Theater’s Into the Woods (Little Red Ridinghood) and has performed with PMT in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast and Footloose. She is a graduate of Point Park University and has been a member of Actor’s Equity since 2010. She dedicates this one to her big brother, Alex, for encouraging her to jump back in!
J. ALEX NOBLE * (Assistant Stage Manager) is happy to be joining his friends at PMT for another season. At PMT he has appeared as Khashoggi in We Will Rock You, a Silly Girl in Beauty and the Beast, the Male Authority Figure in Hairspray, Grantaire in Les Miserables, Cecco the Pirate in Peter Pan, and as Jehan in The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Other recent Pittsburgh Theater credits include Harry the Horse in Guys and Dolls at Pittsburgh Public Theater, Cartharlawn in Sive at PICT Classic Theater, Jackie Elliot in Billy Elliot at Keystone State Music Theater, and as the Beast in Beauty and the Beast at Stage Right! He is a graduate of Point Park University and has been a member of Actors Equity since 2012.
TODD NONN (Lighting & Set Designer) is the Resident Lighting Designer for PMT. This will be his 8th season working on productions with the company. He will also occasionally design a set for one of the shows too. Todd also is the Technical Director for all of Squonk Opera’s shows touring around the world, the Assistant Lighting Designer for all of Pittsburgh Opera’s performances at the Benedum, a stagehand with IATSE Local#3, a Lighting Designer at RMU, and works on many other productions. In his free time he enjoys the outdoors, camping and backpacking.
LARISSA OVERHOLT (Ariel) is a local artist who has studied, worked and played in and all around the Pittsburgh area professionally for the past 18 years. Lacey was notably mentioned in The Post’s “Best of Pittsburgh Theater” for her portrayal of Ariel in PMT’s 2015 production of Disney’s The Little Mermaid and she is bubbling with excitement to dive back into this iconic role! Past PMT credits: We Will Rock You, Grease (Rizzo), Saturday Night Fever (Stephanie Mangano), Peter Pan (Grown-Up Wendy), Young Frankenstein, Seussical the Musical (Mayzie LaBird), Les Miserables, Legally Blonde (Pilar), Jesus Christ Superstar (Tormentor/Soul Girl), Beauty and the Beast (Silly Girl), Footloose (Rusty), Cats (Demeter), The Sound Of Music, Evita, West Side Story (Consuelo), Joseph..., My Fair Lady (Swing) and Annie (Duffy). Behind the scenes, Lacey has enjoyed rocking out with the Elite Show Band, brightening a child’s day with Fairytale Princess Visits and directing/choreographing the cool and caring community of Comtra Theatre. However, her most favorite role in life will always be “mama” to her three little guppies: Michael, Lyla and Domenic. Lacey is forever grateful for the incomparable love and support her amazing parents and her ever-inspiring sister have shown her and forever in love with her real life prince, Michael. “You must give everything to make your life as beautiful as the dreams that dance in your imagination.”
RACHAEL PARSONS (Leeward) is “flippin’ her fins” with excitement to appear in her first professional PMT show! She is grateful for the opportunity and would like to thank everyone who gives their all every day to make her dreams come true! Rachael is a 7th grade student at Pleasant Hills Middle School and a pre-teen student in PMT’s Richard Rauh Conservatory. PMT student productions include: A Lyrical Christmas Carol (Belinda), Beauty and the Beast (Chip) and Lion King Jr. (Lioness). Recently, Rachael had the privilege of appearing on stage as two of her favorite red heads (other than Ariel, of course!): Annie at The Palisade Playhouse and Junie B. Jones at Little Lake Theater. Rachael studies private voice, piano and flute and is a member of her school band. She enjoys arts and crafts and would love to create a “DIY” project with all those “thingamabobs” under the sea!
CHRISTOPHER PATRICK (Makeup and Wig Designer) is a Journeyman Makeup Artist of I.A.T.S.E. Local 798 and has worked in theater, film and commercials in the Pittsburgh region for the past 11 years. He is thrilled to be in his 10th season with Pittsburgh Musical Theater. His film work includes makeup on The Avengers, Perks of Being a Wallflower, Super 8, Out of the Furnace, Foxcatcher, Last Witch Hunter, Concussion, and WGN’s Outsiders. Mr. Patrick grateful to fulfill yet another dream show with The Little Mermaid!
BRADY PATSY (King Triton) is a professional performer from the greater Pittsburgh area. He has performed with company’s such as Pittsburgh Musical Theater, West Virginia Public Theater, Boston’s North Shore Music Theater Company, and many others. In 2008, Brady spent a year working for the Walt Disney World Company. There, he had the opportunity to work with Regis and Kelly, Billy Ray and Miley Cyrus, Fantasia Burrino, David Cook, Jon and Kate Gosselin, and many others! Upon returning to PA, he jumped right back on the stage and has been performing non-stop. During 2010-12 he served as Production Administrator for Grayfin Arts Entertainment Events. He also served as an theater instructor for The Butler Center for the Performing Arts! Brady is currently an acting/voice instructor for Pittsburgh Musical Theater’s Rauh Conservatory! Throughout his eleven years on the professional stage he has had the opportunity to play extraordinary roles in shows such as Sister Act (Curtis), Grease (Miss Lynch), The Little Mermaid (Grimsby), Children of Eden (Father), Hairspray (Edna Turnblad), Jesus Christ Superstar (Peter), Spring Awakening (Male Authority Figure), Beauty and the Beast (Cogsworth), Seussical (General Schmitz), RENT (Tom Collins), Les Miserables (Javert), Cats (Bustopher Jones/Gus) Legally Blonde, West Side Story, Fiddler on the Roof, Tarzan, and many others!
JERREME RODRIGUEZ * (Flotsam) is thrilled to be rocking out on stage again with PMT. He was recently seen as Paco in Miss. Abigail’s Guide To Dating Mating and Marriage starring Paige Davis at the CLO Cabaret and as Lucian in WIG OUT! with Pittsburgh Rep. Jerreme was also seen in the National Tour of A Chorus Line. He’s worked for Austin Playhouse, Austin Lyric Opera, Mary Moody Northen Theater. He is a Librettist in the BMI Musical Theater Workshop, and proud alumni of Interlochen Arts Academy and Point Park University. JONATHAN SAGE (Technical Director) has been with Pittsburgh Musical Theater for more than ten years and is excited to be part of another fabulous production. A Michigan State University alumnus, his professional credits include sound design for The Boarshead Professional Theater in Lansing, Michigan and working as the Technical Director for The Ohio Light Opera in Wooster, Ohio. Jonathan would like to thank his family for all of their love and support.
RAMESH SANTANAM (Public Relations & Marketing Manager) was a journalist for nearly 20 years, having worked for a weekly, dailies and The Associated Press, the world’s largest news service. After leaving journalism, he has worked in public and media relations for the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and Point Park University’s Conservatory of Performing Arts. He also writes screenplays in his spare time, and reads scripts for the screen-writing competitions at the Austin, Nashville and Cinequest film festivals.
MIA SCHMIDTETTER (Ensemble / Maid) is thrilled to be a part of this magical cast! She is currently a senior at Fox Chapel Area High School and is a student in PMT’s Pre-College Program. Mia has been with PMT for the past five years, and she plans on pursuing a BFA in musical theatre in the fall. Some of her favorite roles include A Chorus Line (Cassie), Jekyll and Hyde (Lucy), A Lyrical Christmas Carol (Mrs. Cratchit), and HAIR (Sheila). EMMY SCULLION (Ensemble) is an 8th Grade Musical Theater Major at Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School and she is so excited to perform in Pittsburgh Musical Theater’s The Little Mermaid. Her past roles include Dream James, Understudy Ladybug, and Featured Dancer in James and the Giant Peach Jr. at LPPACS, Gorilla Ensemble and Young Jane in PMT’s Tarzan, Banzai and Lioness in PMT’s The Lion King Jr. and Lily St. Regis in PMT’s Annie Jr. She would like to thank her friends and family for their love and support as well as PMT for this amazing opportunity.
SARAH SESLER MISKO * (Andrina) is beyond grateful to be making her Pittsburgh performing debut, after just recently choreographing Evil Dead for The Pittsburgh Music Theater! Sarah was seen as Hodel on the National Tour of Fiddler on the Roof, as well as numerous regional productions that have taken her across the U.S.! Sarah was in the original workshop reading of Merman’s Apprentice and can be heard on its original cast album! ROYCE STRIDER (Ensemble / Seagull / Sailor / Chef) is tickled pink to be making his regional debut with Pittsburgh Musical Theater! This May, he will also make his Mississippi debut with the Natchez Festival of Music, playing Carl-Magnus (A Little Night Music). In 2017, Royce made his debut with Painted SkyOpera (Oklahoma City), as well as spent his third summer with the Ohio Light Opera. He has also made appearances with Musical Theater Heritage (Kansas City, MO), Opera in the Ozarks (Eureka Springs, AR), Land of Enchantment Opera (Gallup, NM), and Cimarron Opera (Norman, OK). Favorite roles include Oliver Hix (The Music Man), the Mayor (The Inspector), Capulet (Roméo et Juliette), 2nd Gangster (Kiss Me, Kate), Detective Baker (Have a Heart), Monsieur de Brétigny (Manon), Guglielmo (Così fan tutte), the Baker (Into the Woods), and Betto (Gianni Schicchi). ABIGAIL SUGRUE (Ensemble / Maid / u/s: Mersisters) is so happy to be returning for her third production with Pittsburgh Musical Theater, previously appearing in Hunchback of Notre Dame and Tarzan. Abigail graduated from Saint Vincent College with a Vocal Performance degree. Some of her favorite credits include: Pittsburgh CLO’s Gallery of Heroes production of Steel (Hajna), Carousel (Julie Jordan), Cabaret (Fräulein Kost) and All Shook Up (Miss Sandra). Abigail dreams of one day being on Broadway as well as aiding autistic children with music therapy. BRIAN MACK SWEENEY (Ensemble / Sailor / Chef) is thrilled to be making his Pittsburgh debut with PMT on the Byham stage! Brian is recent graduate of Ball State University’s Musical Theatre program where he was lucky enough to work closely with Sutton Foster & Michael Rafter all throughout his senior year. A Greensburg native, Brian attended and performed with Stage Right. Previous credits include Britt Craig (Parade), Billy Einhorn (House of Blue Leaves) and Male Swing (Next to Normal). Brian would like to thank his family for their unwavering support of him.
ELLIE TONGEL (Ensemble) is beyond excited to return to the main stage to perform in her 6th professional show! She is an 8th grade gifted student at O’block Junior High in Plum and she currently receives her voice, dance, and theater training at PMT’s Richard E. Rauh Conservatory. Previous PMT performances include: Beauty and the Beast (Ensemble), Tarzan (Gorilla Ensemble), and Oliver! (Workhouse Boy) Past CLO credits include: Annie (orphan), Fiddler on the Roof (Bielke), Mary Poppins (Ensemble), and Gypsy (Ensemble). JACK TONGEL (Windward / Ensemble) is thrilled to be in his 2nd professional show. He is a 6th grade gifted student at Pivik Elementary in Plum and he receives his theater training at Pittsburgh Musical Theater. Recently he performed in PMT’s Beauty and the Beast (village child) and in the main stage production of Tarzan (young Tarzan). He also played Simba in PMT’s conservatory preteen show, Lion King Jr. Jack has been in numerous voiceovers and commercials. He would like to thank his parents, his sister Ellie, and his teachers at PMT for supporting him. He is grateful for this opportunity to be back on the Byham stage.
KATE QUEEN-TOOLE (Controller) has a B.A. in Communication/Theater, a B.S.B.A in Accounting, and an M.S. in Instructional Leadership from Robert Morris University. She has had the distinct pleasure of appearing in so many wonderful PMT productions since moving to Pittsburgh in 2007. Some of her favorite moments onstage with PMT include Maria in West Side Story, Wendla in Spring Awakening, and Jane in Tarzan. She is thrilled to be working with the students of PMT as an educator and resident artist. Kate values the mentorship and education she received from the many brilliant teachers and performers she’s had the opportunity to study under throughout her life; she is thrilled to join the ranks of PMT’s staff and become an active part of the development of many more brilliantly talented performers!
DAVID TOOLE * (Prince Eric) is excited to return to the Byham Stage with his PMT family and incredibly talented cast-mates for The Little Mermaid! Outside of theater David is one of 5 rotating National Anthem singers for the Pittsburgh Penguins, the vocalist, guitarist, and co-songwriter for the band Identity X, and is a private voice instructor residing in the North Hills. FRANCESCA TORTORELLO (Music Director) regularly performs recitals in the Northeast and Midwest and collaborates with a wide variety of instrumentalists and singers. She has worked with members of the Cleveland Orchestra and the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra and has been heard on Minnesota Public Radio performing on Talking Volumes. She collaborated with renowned soprano Susanna Phillips at Twickenhamfest in 2011, and gave the Midwest premier of Samuel Barber’s lost violin sonata with violinist Dr. John Gilbert in July 2014. Francesca began piano lessons at the age of four in her hometown of Mount Kisco, NY. She holds a Bachelors degree in Piano Performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music where she studied with Antonio Pompa-Baldi. Her true passion, however, has always been chamber music and she received a Masters degree and Professional Studies certificate in Collaborative Piano from CIM, studying with Virginia Weckstrom. She recently obtained a Doctorate in Collaborative Piano and Coaching at the University of Minnesota and studied with Timothy Lovelace. A dedicated teacher and coach, Francesca served as staff accompanist at the Sato Center for Suzuki Studies at CIM for four years and, most recently, held the position of staff accompanist at the MacPhail Center for Music in Minneapolis. She has maintained an active teaching studio for the past decade. Francesca and her husband, Pittsburgh Symphony cellist Michael DeBruyn, have been performing as a professional duo since 2004.

ASHLEY WALLACE (Ensemble) is so excited to take the main stage in her first professional show! She is a sixth grader at David E. Williams Middle School in the Montour School District and she receives her theater and dance training at PMT’s Richard E. Raul Conservatory. In the fall, Ashley enchanted audiences in the ensemble of PMT’s production of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast and her other shows include: The Lion King Jr. (Lioness), The Addams Family (Ancestor Soloist), and A Lyrical Christmas Carol (Belle’s Child/Caroler). JULIANNA WEIS (Ensemble / Maid) is overjoyed to be a part of PMT’s second production of Disney’s The Little Mermaid. She’s currently a senior at Pine-Richland High School and PMT’s pre-college program. Julianna has been dancing since age 2, and has been training with PMT’s Richard E. Rauh Conservatory for five years. During these spectacular seasons some of her favorite credits include Miss Saigon, In The Heights, A Chorus Line, Young Frankenstein, American Idiot the Musical, Once on This Island, Sister Act, Hair, and A Lyrical Christmas Carol. She would like to thank all of her teachers for their great instruction and advice and her parents for always supporting her, especially her mom for being her everything.
GEMMA LEIGH WILLIAMSON * (Production Stage Manager) is happy to be making the magic happen with PMT’s production of The Little Mermaid! Since 2007, Gemma has been a part of PMT’s family, serving as Production & Logistics Manager, and proud Actors Equity Member! She is also a part of PMT’s College Mentoring Program as a mentor to high school seniors who are interested in technical theater, education, theater management, journalism, and the like. JOE YORK (Scuttle) is thrilled to be performing in his second PMT show and would like to thank all involved with this fantastic production! He graduated from New York University with an MFA in Musical Theatre Playwriting and Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a BA in Musical Theatre Performance. Before making Pittsburgh his home, he acted onstage at various professional theaters across the country having performed in Les Miserables at White Plains Performing Arts Center, 1776 at Cortland Repertory Theater, Bat Boy and Jesus Christ Superstar at Keystone Repertory Theater, Little Shop of Horrors at The Huron Playhouse, and Sweeney Todd: Prog-Metal Version at Landless Theatre Company. As a musical writer, he has created works performed in New York and Pennsylvania at various theatrical companies. Some of his original musicals include The Trees, Light up!, and Discovering Eden. SANDY ZWIER (Ursula) is thrilled and honored to be playing one of her dream roles with PMT’s Little Mermaid! She has a BFA in Music Theatre Performance from Western Michigan University and trained with the Upright Citizens Brigade in NYC. She also toured the country with Ragtime (Emma Goldman) and Mamma Mia! (Ensemble/US Donna & Rosie). Other favorite roles include Cheryl in Evil Dead The Musical (PMT), Janis Joplin in Beehive (Mason Street Warehouse), and Miss Jane in Floyd Collins (Front Porch Theatricals).
