TECHNICAL THEATER & DESIGN PROGRAM

Education Programs for ages 13 - 18

The Technical Theater and Design Program takes students behind the curtain, to learn about the "magic" that brings the shows to life! Students get classroom and hands-on experiences in the full range of technical theater disciplines including basics of design in set, lighting, costumes, sound, and properties.

PMT strives to sufficiently challenge, while never overwhelming your student. If you have questions regarding the age range for this program and the best class selections for your student, please email us at conservatory@pittsburghmusicals.com or call (412) 539-0900 x238 before completing registration!

No prior experience is required for entrance into our Technical Theater and Design Program.
