CONSERVATORY TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Minimum Enrollment and Conflict Casting Policy
In order to ensure that our training method is consistently applied and that our audience continues to enjoy the performance quality offered by PMT, students must be enrolled and actively participating in a minimum of 3 conservatory classes to be considered for subscription series productions. Subscription series productions include those at the Byham Theater and those that are a part of the Rockin' West End Series.
Any enrolled student of the Rauh Conservatory is eligible for all Conservatory Series productions. These shows include the Conservatory Productions that take place at The New Hazlett Theater or Gargaro Theater only.
Please note all rehearsal and production conflicts may be may be subject to consideration in the casting process of all productions.
For Summer Musical Theater Camp, please note that any camp and production conflicts may be subject to consideration in the casting process of all summer productions.
Once tuition has been paid, it is non-refundable. We will be happy to hold a credit for up to one calendar year and will apply your unused tuition to future classes.
Payment Plan Policy
When tuition has not been paid in full prior to the start of the semester, all students will be enrolled in an automatic payment plan.
For Fall and Spring semesters, payments will be charged in equal installments on the 1st of each month (January - April / September - December)
For Summer Musical Theater Camp, payments will be charged in 2 equal installments.
Late payments will be charged a $30 service fee after 5 business days.
All tuition must be paid in full. Students whose accounts are past due will not be allowed to register for class until the account is made current or payment arrangements are made.
Registration & Tuition Fees
There is a $40 non-refundable registration fee per student per semester to cover processing and handling for all school aged-students.
To fully register for PMT classes, payment in full is required.
A 20% deposit is required to secure registration.
Add/Drop Class Policy
All class withdrawal notifications must be submitted in writing.
All Add/Drops must be made before the 3rd Saturday of the semester*.
Tuition is nonrefundable, but we will hold your credit up to one calendar year and will apply your unused tuition to future classes.
*Void upon semester auditions, not applicable to Teen Performance Intensive or Pre-College Programs
Withdrawal before the 3rd week of class = 50% of total tuition payment due.
Withdrawal after the 3rd week of class = 100% of total tuition payment due.
Withdrawal date is calculated based on the date written notice of withdrawal is received.
COVID-19 Risk Policy
We have taken enhanced health and safety measures at Pittsburgh Musical Theater for our students, resident artists, patrons and staff. You must follow all instructions regarding drop-off and pick-up procedures as well as posted instructions while at the PMT Studios for classes and performances.
An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and those with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.
By attending classes and performances you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
